Growing up in the fabulous 70's, DJ 06 Eric (The Hague, Holland) has always felt a special connection with the (pop) music of that decade, more specifically the funky tunes and disco-grooves of the mid and late 70's.

His taste of music developed beyond these however, and (still) includes many existing and emerging styles since such as the funk, soul, electronic music, new wave, blitz, italo-disco, pop/dance and house music of the 70's, '80's and '90's up to the present day.

Main interest throughout his musical taste always was and is a danceable sound; happy partymusic that will make you wanna move and feel good, blended - not mixed! - in a selection of the best tunes of all times.

Eric started as a DJ for school parties and the local youth center, then started doing private radio shows in his teens and is now still hosting his own weekly radio show in a western-Holland based radio station, probably the longest non-stop running dance music radio show in Holland, called Next Groove.
Since 1990 this show was on the air non-stop every week and has hosted some legendary DJ-guests such as Derrick May and Stacey Pullen (USA) and Dutch DJ heroes such as Armin van Buuren, Remy, 100% Isis and Steve Rachmad.

He is currently resident DJ at the LVC Club in Leiden, Holland, where he hosts 2 party concepts: Dance Classix (Disco, Dance & House) and the Roller disco (Disco & Dance classics).
He also does guest DJ-sets for other discotheques, clubs and party organisations such as the popular club Paard (The Hague), Repetitie huis (Amsterdam), Werff-Cafe (Leiden), was DJ at the legendary Electronic Entertainment parties, and will play at any other place
